About these terms
These terms apply when you use coachers.org, which is run by Coachers (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site is
coachers.org describes our Chinese programmes, our workshops in Taiwan and our partnerships, and publishes free articles in the Journal. It is written for parents and other adults. There are no accounts, and nothing can be bought on the site. If you arrange a course, a workshop or a partnership with us, its details are agreed with you directly.
General information, not a guarantee
We write our articles and guides with care, but they are general information about learning Chinese. They are not professional or educational advice about your child, and following them does not guarantee any particular result: every child learns differently. Details such as programmes, dates, prices or availability, including any mentioned in older articles, can change or go out of date, and they are not an offer.
Using our content
You are welcome to read our articles, print them for your own family’s use, share links to them, and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please do not republish, sell or pass off our articles, illustrations or images as your own without our written permission.
Some material on the site is used under its own licence, and that licence applies to it. For example, the animated stroke-order characters are built from data released under the Arphic Public License.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites and services, including the share buttons on our articles for LINE, Facebook, WhatsApp and email. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.
Using the site fairly
Please do not try to disrupt, overload or break into the site, and do not use the contact form to send spam, advertising or unlawful content. We may ignore or delete messages that do.
The site is provided “as is”
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”, without any promise that it will be complete, correct, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
