給華裔與雙語孩子的中文學習課程

Five themes, each a question a child wants answered.

Coachers offers theme-based Chinese learning pathways for heritage and bilingual children ages 5–12. Every unit begins with a story, a cultural theme or a real-life experience, and ends with something the child made.

Each unit carries vocabulary, sentence frames, guiding questions and creative tasks, so a child builds comprehension, speaking confidence, reading connections and expressive ability step by step — rather than collecting words that never get used.

每個單元從故事、文化主題或真實生活經驗出發,搭配詞彙、句型、引導問題與創作任務,幫孩子逐步建立中文理解、口語信心、閱讀連結與表達能力。

Five themes五大主題

01Home家與歸屬What makes a place home?
02Family家庭與記憶What stories live in our families?
03Food食物與生活What does food tell us about culture?
04Place地方與自然How does place shape our lives?
05Feelings情緒與表達How can I say what I feel in Chinese?

How a unit works學習流程

The same four steps every time. A child begins with a story or cultural theme they can actually feel, learns the Chinese to talk about it, connects it back to Taiwan and to their own life, and finishes something they can hand to family.

故事
Story

A picture book, a festival, a family memory.

中文
Chinese

The words and frames to say it themselves.

文化
Culture

The thread back to Taiwan, and to their life.

創作
Create

Something finished they can hand to family.

Three levels三個程度

Levels describe where a child is, not what grade they’re in. A ten-year-old who understands a lot but rarely speaks belongs in Bridge, and that is not a setback — it is the right starting line.
